Michelle offers individual virtual counselling for adults seeking support with relationships, family dynamics, boundaries, self-esteem, life transitions, and personal growth.
Sessions are tailored to each client’s unique needs and experiences. Counselling may involve processing emotions and experiences, exploring relationship patterns, developing coping tools, strengthening communication and boundaries, or building greater self-awareness and nervous system regulation.
A limited number of sliding scale and pro bono spaces may be available for those experiencing financial barriers. Please feel free to reach out to discuss options.
Free 15-Minute Consultation
A complimentary virtual consultation to briefly connect, discuss what brings you to counselling, and explore whether working together feels like a good fit.
50-Minute Virtual Counselling Session — $85
A focused session designed to support ongoing growth, emotional processing, and practical next steps within a shorter timeframe.
60-Minute Virtual Counselling Session — $100
An extended session allowing more space for deeper exploration, reflection, and support.
Insurance & Payment
Michelle understands that navigating insurance coverage and payment for counselling services can sometimes feel overwhelming. The information below is intended to help make the process feel a little clearer and more manageable.
Insurance
Mental health services may be covered through your extended health benefits plan. At this time, Michelle does not directly bill provincial health insurance plans.
Clients are encouraged to check with their insurance provider prior to booking to confirm whether their plan includes coverage for counselling and psychological services provided by an RTCc (Registered Therapeutic Counsellor Candidate).
For insurance plans that provide coverage for RTCc counselling services, receipts will be provided for clients to submit for reimbursement.
Payment
Michelle accepts e-transfer, Mastercard, and Visa payments. E-transfers can be sent to michelleduncalfecounselling@gmail.com.
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.
Counselling services may also be eligible for the Medical Expense Tax Credit on your income tax return. Annual payment summaries are available upon request.
